Are you intimidated by a new Golf course the first time you play it? Does this keep you in the comfort zone of your own home course? A sure fire way to shed this intimidation is with your own personal Golf GPS system. With the number of courses that have been mapped out these days, the chances are very good that the course you are about to play has been done.

It’s one of the most distressing moments of the mental game: You make your way up to the next tee only to find two groups waiting to hit, another down the fairway, and still another on the green. Your world comes to a grinding halt. If you’re playing well, running into traffic like this can break your momentum; if you’re playing poorly, you’re likely to spend the extra time chewing yourself out. Here’s how to get through the wait:

Fitting will be a very important consideration for anyone interested in the G10. I am not a golfer who struggles with controlling high launch spin; but even I found that the G10 launches very high for its loft. I would strongly suggest testing this club on a launch monitor before buying because it s likely you may move into a degree less loft than other drivers on the market due to the club s high launch.

Something else to think about is water resistance. This will cost you more, but having dry clubs and gear when the weather turns bad is a big bonus. Golfers that prefer to walk and carry are looking for certain features in a Golf Bag as well. Also when you are just starting to take up this game a carry bag is the way to go. The reason is you probably won’t have a full set of 14 clubs yet.

it’s astonishing that the nlatest Sunderland waterproofs always seems to exceed expectation. Other manufactures try and imitate but I really like the quality and style they produce.
It is vital to get good waterproofs as it really does help you score better in the wet.
Whilst other companies will believe they are the top dog I just don’t think anything comes close and I would not consider using any other company and feel that they consistantly bring home the bacon so to speak
We all have our favourites and you win no awards for guessing what mine is however I sugest if you have not used this company you should certainly try them soon.

What is the easiest way that you know to lower your golf handicap? Is it taking lessons from a trained PGA professional instructor, and then spending hours on the range working on what he or she has taught you. That is definitely a proven way but certainly not the fastest or easiest way. I believe you can lower your handicap by at least 5 shots by being more accurate with your approach shots. How do you do that, well by knowing the correct yardage to the hole and knowing how far you hit each of your clubs? The easiest way to do that is by owning a Sky Caddie from SkyGolf.

Have you ever stood on a tee box wondering just that? You know that with a good swing you can carry the ball around 240 yards, but what if it’s not your best swing. A Golf GPS can help you make that decision of whether or not to go for it. So your Golf GPS tells you that to carry the edge of the water you need to fly the ball 210 yards, you put a good swing on the ball and your drive ends up in the middle of the fairway 250 yards out. Nicely done.

When you are getting help with your game going to Golf Practice, it is a good idea to make sure you are keeping to your plan.

Before you do anything about improving, make a note of your major swing keys or thoughts. This is a great reference point for yourself and your instructor. If you know how you think about a particular shot or part of the swing, you can compare this when you get different information or see if it fits in with what you are doing.

It is a regular golf bag in all respects other than the theft-prevention measures. The organizer bag top includes slots for 14 clubs. It features 9 pockets, a soft single strap and handles for easy lifting.

What have been your results? Did they work and if so was it immediate? Or did you, like most every golfer alive, simply fill your head full of self talk saying things like, “ok, calm down. Just breathe…there’s nothing to be nervous about…hey, maybe he’ll miss his putt….yeah…miss-miss-miss!”

I took the new 907 D2 for a test drive the other day and I’ve got to say it is one of the best Titleist Golf Clubs I have ever hit. I’m a traditionalist when it comes to looks and this club in my modest opinion is beautiful. I love the sleek new lines and black finish it just begs you to rip the cover off the ball. It’s got to be the most forgiving driver I’ve ever hit. Off center hits still sail straight down the fairway. I spent the better part of an hour on the launch monitor, trying different shafts and the one that worked best for me was the Aldila VS Proto 80. The consistency and feel was perfect for me. I know it was on a launch monitor, but I was averaging 294 yards with this Titleist Golf Club. That’s about 7 yards more than my R7 Quad.

Another really nice benefit that Ping Golf Clubs have is each club has a serial number. You ask why this matters. Well let’s say you just played a shot with your favourite 7 iron and didn’t know there was a big rock under your ball. You here that sickening sound of metal on rock. Ouch! You look and there is a large ugly gash on the bottom of your favourite iron. Basically it is ruined. Well because it’s part of a set with a specific serial number, your Ping Golf Club can be replaced with an exact copy. Another thing you don’t get when you buy off the rack.

If we as amateur golfers want to improve our game we have to refocus our Mental Game of Golf to the things that we want to happen. We have to stop the negative thoughts from creeping into focus. We have to start focusing on the positive things in our game. When we address the ball, the only thing that should be going through our minds is hitting the target we have chosen.

There are millions of us amateur golfers who struggle with the Mental Game of Golf all the time.

It was once said by Bobby Jones “the toughest course around is the six inches between our ears.” What an unbelievably true statement!

We struggle with swing thoughts, mechanics, tempo, alignment. We are intimidated by hazards on either side of the hole. We think “I don’t want to go right there is out of bounds over there” or “don’t go left there is a water hazard there.” Inevitably when we think about the things that we don’t want to happen, we have opened the door and our Mental Game thoughts take over. The result is we are either OB or in the water hazard.
